The Egyptian Princess is a Cinderella story! In our story, Rhodopis is shipwrecked in a terrible storm, kidnapped by pirates, and sold to a wealthy mistress. In her new home, she faces jealousy and tricksters but is helped by kind friends, including the falcon, who steals her shoe and changes her life forever when the Pharaoh himself passes by the River Nile.

In the camp, students ages 6-14 will learn the fundamentals of acting, dancing, singing, and storytelling. Together will will explore puppetry, behind the scenes, theater history and etiquette all while working toward our culminating performance, complete with with scenery, lights, sound, microphones, and fabulous costumes. All participants will have a speaking role in the show, because we believe every child is a star and deserves a chance to be in the spotlight.
